It doesn’t get much easier than the viral COTTAGE CHEESE FLATBREAD! As a self-proclaimed cottage cheese hater, this recipe has me changing my tune. It’s low carb, high protein, gluten-free, and doesn’t have that lumpy cottage cheese consistency. Dare I say, expect more cottage cheese recipes in the future?!
INGREDIENTS
1 cup cottage cheese
1 egg
1 tsp Italian seasoning
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
HOW TO MAKE
-Preheat oven to 350 and line a medium-sized baking sheet with parchment paper.
-Grease parchment paper with non-stick cooking spray.
-Put all ingredients into a blender, and process until smooth, only takes a few seconds.
-Pour mixture onto parchment paper lined baking sheet, and spread evenly. It will be runny, that’s normal.
-Bake for 35-40 minutes.
-Let cool for a few minutes then remove from baking sheet.
-Fill with your favorite wrap/sandwich ingredients and enjoy!
