This strawberry sauce is one of the easiest recipes, and SO much better for you than the store-bought jams and jellies. If strawberries aren’t your thing, that’s totally ok…make it with blueberries instead!
INGREDIENTS
1 lb fresh strawberries, rinsed and hulled
3 Tbsp water
1 tsp coconut sugar
HOW TO MAKE
-Rinse and hull strawberries.
-In a medium sauce pan, bring strawberries and water to a boil then reduce heat to low and let simmer. Once strawberries are soft (about 10 minutes), mash them into a thick sauce. I use a garlic press rocker, but a fork will work just fine!
-Add coconut sugar, stir, and let simmer for 3 more minutes.
-Remove from heat and store in a glass container in the refrigerator.
