Crunchwrap Supreme

One of my favorite things to do is take cult-favorite Taco Bell recipes and make them with cleaner ingredients! This one for the Crunchwrap Supreme is no different. I tested this recipe on several people, and we’ve got a winner on our hands folks! To give it even more flavor, I used @kettleandfire beef broth instead of water, pro move in my opinion.

Side Note: This recipe makes 4 Crunchwrap Supremes.

INGREDIENTS

1 lb ground beef

3 Tbsp taco seasoning (I use mild @sietefoods)

1/3 cup beef broth (I use @kettleandfire)

4 burrito sized tortillas (I use @sietefoods)

1 (10.8 oz) jar dairy-free queso

1 bag grain-free tortilla chips (I use @sietefoods Dip Chips)

1/2 cup dairy-free sour cream (I use @kitehillfoods Greek-style yogurt)

1 cup shredded lettuce

1 small Roma tomato, diced

1 Tbsp avocado oil

HOW TO MAKE

-Over medium high heat, brown ground beef.

-Add taco seasoning and broth. -Stir to coat, and let cook until liquid is absorbed.

-Next to a large cutting board, set up an assembly line of the ground beef, queso, chips, Greek yogurt, lettuce, and tomatoes.

-In a skillet, heat avocado oil on medium heat.

-To make burrito-sized tortillas pliable, heat them in a separate skillet on medium heat for a few seconds on each side before putting together each Crunchwrap Supreme. *Don’t heat them all at once! Do so as you make each one!*

-After heated, place tortilla on cutting board.

-Scoop about 1/3 cup of ground beef into the center of the tortilla.

-Fully cover beef with queso.

-Place 3-4 chips on top of queso.

-Cover chips with Greek yogurt.

-Top with shredded lettuce and tomatoes.

-Fold in sides of tortilla towards the center. There should be 5 folds, and it should completely cover everything.

-In skillet with heated avocado oil, place Crunchwrap seam side down. Cook until tortilla is golden and seams are sealed together, about 3 mins per side. *After both sides are golden, I like to hold it up on all 5 sides with tongs to get them golden as well.*

-Repeat for the remaining Crunchwrap Supremes.

-Serve with salsa and guacamole. Enjoy!
